This includes checking the bricks, mortar and other materials used in the construction of your chimney, as well as assessing the condition of the chimney lining.
We'll examine the chimney flue using the snake camera with a detachable screen, which will allow you and us to see if there's any damage to the chimney flue. We'll make sure that your chimney flue is creosote free and crack-free. We'll also look for any downdraft issues that might cause flow problems.
We'll thoroughly inspect the firebox (where the fire is burned) to ensure that it's in good condition, checking for any cracks or damage that might compromise its safety and integrity. We'll make sure that the firebox is properly sealed and that there are no signs of wear or tear that could put you and your family at risk.
If accessible, we'll get on the roof and thoroughly inspect the flashing, cap, chase, crown, and brickwork. Flashing is the metal that surrounds the chimney and prevents water from entering the home. The cap, chase, and crown prevent rain, snow, and animals from entering the chimney.
Our state-of-the-art drone is equipped with a 4K high-resolution camera and advanced navigation technology, allowing for detailed inspections of even the hardest-to-reach chimneys. The footage captured by the drone can be easily analyzed and shared with homeowners. *In the case of 1 story homes, we'll inspect by foot.

The inspection process for your fireplace will take approximately 30 minutes. Once the inspection is complete, we will provide you with an estimate for the work that needs to be done. If you approve the estimate, our team will begin the work right away, ensuring that your fireplace is ready for use as soon as possible.
This fee is fully deductible and will go towards any service or repair for your chimney and fireplace. We'll provide you with all the necessary documentation, so you can claim the deduction on your taxes.
